The sky was on fire last night.
My left brain wanted to label it: blue, pink, orange, red, light, dark. It wanted to analyze it: smoke in the air, clouds hanging low, equinox coming soon.
My right brain wanted to dance with and sing to it. It wanted to write a song and a poem and recite it only for God.
But then my left brain said, hey, I can't quantify dancing or scientifically analyze a poem. So I didn't do any of those things.
One day my right brain will tell my left brain what's up. It'll be like, hey, your role in this brain is valuable but so is mine, and tonight we're going to dance.
And I'll dance.
